Another outfit for my friend's character, this time a ball dress. I wanted to stay away from organic looking things as the character tends to have a more modern/futuristic play about her. The piece in her hair is silver and sapphire, the necklace she wears silver.
She has a sort of jacquard style to her bodice, and silk ribbon laced to it, more for show than anything.
The whole dress was actually very simple to do, and very fun, I haven't really done anything much like this one before. It was a lot of fun to do. I think all in all it took me about six hours. That's a pretty good amount of time for me on a doll. I tend to be very impatient with things.
But yes, this doll I'm fairly proud of and excited to submit. I hope you all like it as much as I do, because I worked very hard.
I'm glad to say I came out of a rut I was dipping into, I think, and have been doing a lot more artwork lately. Maybe I'll get some of my sketchbook work uploaded sometime soon. *glares at malfunctioning scanner*
